Air Heating And Refrigeration’S STORY STARTED WITH THE BENDIXEN FAMILY

Air Heating & Refrigeration LLC’s start wasn’t standard. Our founder, Gary Bendixen, actually started his career as a Christian school teacher. Eventually, another teacher invited him out on an HVAC job, joking that Gary could play the role of “bodyguard.” He tried it, liked it, and eventually started a business of his own.

For a long time, it was just family. The kids grew up around furnace work, often riding along and seeing what treating customers right looked like. Over the years, the company grew by bringing in friends and good people who fit the way the Bendixen family wanted to do business.

At Air Heating And Refrigeration, we’re not here to pressure you into anything. We’re here to figure out what’s going on and give honest recommendations. That has been our outlook for more than 40 years, and it’s allowed us to grow into a trusted HVAC company in Oakland and Macomb County.
